The Office of Institutional Diversity (OID) invites faculty to submit applications for the 2014-15 Diversity Associates Program. Once again, we invite submissions for immersive learning, inclusive pedagogy, research, or grant projects. This year we are adding a new category for those interested in developing diversity dialogue workshops. Faculty will participate in a year-long relationship with OID mentors. Associates will be expected to meet with mentors on a regular basis. Projects should focus on one or more of the following areas: race, ethnicity, economic status, national origin, disability, gender, sexual identity, age, and/or religious viewpoints. Faculty may propose an individual project or a collaborative project with a colleague. Outcomes will either be an article submission, inclusive pedagogy project, immersive learning application, diversity dialogue workshop presentation, or grant submission. A total stipend of $650 per project will be provided to selected diversity associates. Mentors for this project are Dr. David Concepcion, Dr. Melinda Messineo, Mr. Stanley Geidel, and Dr. Charlene Alexander.
