Ball State's final comprehensive self-study report for continuing accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is now available for faculty, staff, and students to review online. View the report.

This self-study report reflects two years of diligent research, writing, and revision by several campuswide committees along with important feedback from faculty, staff, students, and the local community through draft review opportunities and a series of public forums. It examines the university's efforts in meeting the five broad criteria and 21 specific core components for excellence, accountability, and improvement as established by HLC.

With the report completed, the next phase of the accreditation process involves an HLC peer review team visiting campus October 7-9.

Ball State has been accredited since 1925 and received its most recent 10-year accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission in 2004. For more information about the accreditation process, visit www.bsu.edu/accreditation, e-mail HLC2013@bsu.edu, or call 765-285-3716.
