Aaron Esche, first year doctoral student in counseling psychology, has received a US Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program award. This competitive program leads to a commission in the USAF (Aaron is now a Lt.), a higher level of consideration for an USAF pre-doctoral internship, and promotion to Captain in the USAF upon graduation from the doctoral program. Aaron is the fourth student from the department of counseling psychology to receive this scholarship; and this is the third consecutive year that one of our students has earned this distinction.
