The Center for Gifted Studies and Talent Development is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a
week-long science enrichment program this summer sponsored by the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame. Camp Invention is a nationally-recognized program that puts real world STEM problems in the hands of elementary students and engages them in the engineering design process.
Participants do not need to be Burris students to attend. The program is open to any student entering grades 1-6 in the fall.
Rising 7th-9th graders interested in a leadership role at camp can now register at a discounted rate as Counselors-in-Training (CITs). Contact Miki Hamstra below for more information.
Please visit the following website to learn more about the program and register
your child: http://www.campinvention.org/
Ball State affiliates are eligible for a $30 discount. (Register under the “Staff / Sponsor” link and use promo code HOST. You must use your BSU email address to register in order to be eligible for the host discount). Feel free to invite friends. Non-BSU affiliates who register by May 16th can save $15 (promo code SPRING). Multiple siblings discount is available as well.
Camp Invention Dates: June 16 - 20
Times: 9:00AM-3:30PM
Location: Burris Laboratory School
Please contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Miki Hamstra
