Earth Day Senior Fellow presentation

Eric Dodd, CEO of Summit Environmental Services, LLC, and graduate of Ball

State University (Natural Resources), 1989, is the featured Earth Day Senior

Fellow hosted by the College of Sciences and Humanities. Mr. Dodd will

visit campus on April 22-23, and will give a presentation that is open to all on

Earth Day, April 22, 3:30-4:30, in WQ 127. The presentation, ‘Environmental

Emergency Response – Priority, Pollution and Politics,’
will focus on his

experience in environmental cleanup and emergency response in various

high-profile situations, including the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the

Gulf of Mexico, the Willard, Ohio, chemical spill response, and the tar sands

project in Venezuela.

Following the Senior Fellow presentation, he will lead an informal

presentation, also in WQ 127, entitled ‘Alphabet Soup – 25 Years of

Regulatory andClient Pressure.’
Mr. Dodd will share his ideas regarding what

employers are seeking in prospective employees, and will lead a Q&A session

about transitioning into professional careers. All students are welcome to
