Opening for the Director of Immersive Learning

In light of the announced retirement of Dr. Joe Trimmer, Director of the Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry, Provost Terry King seeks applicants for the Position of Director of Immersive Learning.  This person will oversee the immersive learning mission, activities, and objectives for the university. Additionally, the director will engage in short and long-range planning and programming for faculty and students; act as the director and fiscal agent for the VBC, expanding, revising, and developing programs; and serve as university spokesperson for immersive learning to both internal and external audiences. This will be an Academic Year appointment with an additional summer stipend.  A complete position description is available from the Office of the Provost and from University Human Resource Services.  Applications will be accepted until Feb. 24, 2014.
