Student Spam Alert: Honor Society Acceptance Letter

The Office of Information Security would like to make students aware of potential spam (unsolicited bulk/commercial email) or scam that is being delivered to student e-mail accounts. The potential spam is from is a commercial organization and is not affiliated with Ball State University nor recognized by Ball State University as a legitimate honor society.  It is our recommendation to not reply and provide any personal information.  We recommend you delete the e-mail.

Below is an example of the e-mail being received.
