Stress Relief Week: Monday, April 20th — Thursday, April 23rd

The week before finals can be stressful, but Peer Health Education’s got your back. Mark your calendars for these opportunities to decompress, find balance, and head into finals weeks feeling confident and relaxed. All events are FREE and open to all BSU students!


Monday, April 20th: Stress Free Zone
Bracken Library
3-5PM
Stop by our table next to “the naked lady” on your way to a study session to grab some free super brain foods! Learn how pulling an all-nighter can derail all your hard work, healthy ways to de-stress, and take your mind off finals for a moment and pop some bubble wrap or color a picture! CAUTION: Stress-Free Zone.

Tuesday, April 21st: Minute or Less to Decompress
Scramble Light
12-2PM
Compete against a friend to see who can wiggle an Oreo from their forehead to their mouth or suck more skittles onto their straw! Our “Minute To Win It” games will make you laugh, play, and take your mind off of it all! Win a stress relieving prize! Also, embrace your inner child with bubbles and hula hoops.

Tuesday, April 21st: Doodle at Dinner
Woodworth Dining (East Atrium)
5-7PM
Coloring during dinner isn't just for kids! Come Doodle @ Dinner! Crayons and paper table coverings will be provided in Woodworth while you dine! Unlimited creativity. Express your way to less stress!

Wednesday, April 22nd: Stress Busters
SRWC – Indoor Turf Field
7-10PM
Come play stress away! An obstacle course, human hamster balls, joust, and a bungee run will get your endorphins pumping!!! Get pampered with a free chair massage, scorch some stress in a free fitness class (Zumba & Yoga at 7:45-8:45pm), get creative at our arts & crafts table, and grab some brain foods to fuel your next study session. All for FREE!

Thursday, April 23nd: Take a Breather: Efficient Ways of Mentally Preparing for Finals Week
Student Center, room 303
4-5PM
Graduate students in the Sport & Exercise Psychology program will offer tips for relaxation and staying mentally sharp as you prepare for Finals. Learn breathing techniques, positive self-talk, and goal-setting to help you stay confident, relaxed, and focused this Finals week.
