REC Fit is excited to announce our upcoming fitness certification events, all occurring at the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (SRWC)!

The fundamentals of rowing workouts for group classes and individual rowing sessions – with opportunities to try them yourself! This course is perfect for group exercise instructors, personal trainers, fitness enthusiasts, and home users.

PILOXING Knockout is a 45-minute workout influenced by plyometrics, sports conditioning drills and functional training. Increase your fitness level, boost your confidence and strength, break boundaries and gain results. Knockout is a program that suits and challenges individuals of all fitness levels. It’s time to make your workout effective and FUN!

Learn the fundamentals of TRX Suspension Training, and how to incorporate them into your personal training practice in this introductory eight-hour course.

This specialty workshop not only introduces the fundamental principles of Pilates, but teaches you how to apply them through 33 different exercises. In addition to the fundamental principles of core stabilization and posture alignment as they apply to basic Pilates mat work, you’ll also learn effective ways of cuing, correcting form and applying modifications.
