Ball State University's Office of the Provost and the Office of Entrepreneurial Learning (OEL) are pleased to announce this semester's call for new and continuing proposals for the Provost Immersive Learning Grant program. Immersive learning pulls together student teams guided by faculty mentors to create unique, high-impact learning experiences that result in real-world solutions for community partners. Ball State faculty who have an idea for an immersive learning project are encouraged to apply. Funding can support travel expenses, materials and other costs associated with your project. This round of funding can support projects expected to begin in summer 2018, fall 2018 or spring 2019. For proposal examples, click here for a list of projects funded in fall 2017. Completed proposals are due on or before 5 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018.

Go to the Provost Immersive Learning Grant Application page for proposal guidelines and access to the online submission system. To get specific feedback on a grant proposal or if you have general questions about your application, contact the President’s Faculty Fellows in your college or schedule an appointment with OEL staff. Contact Suzanne Plesha (Director of Faculty Support and Assessment) or call the Office of Entrepreneurial Learning at 285-2790 to arrange a meeting.
